main fuse type/amp

I have an operation thunderbolt cab and two drawers (PCB, line circuit, etc) for it.

The working one in it seems to have a 5amp fuse and a "32V" fuse.

The other one has 2x 3Ax250V fuses.

What is it suppose to have? Are they slow? Fast?

Edit the recoil PCBs seem to also have 3Ax250V fuses too.
 
I'm inclined that the proper fuse is 3A, 250V, slo-blo.

take that 5A one out, I'm fairly certain it's wrong.
 
32V is for automotive use and should not be used for mains. The actual rating isn't important as long as it EXCEEDS the mains rating - in your case MORE than 110V

The current rating (amps) should be set so that with a switch on surge the fuse remains intact but with a continued heavy load it will blow (go open circuit).

In Australia we have 230V so our 'amps' rating is lower at (usually) 3A - yours should be higher as your voltage is lower.



Calculate Fuse Ratings
There is a formula for working out the fuse rating, voltage or wattage for each appliance

P (Power in Watts) = V (voltage) x I (current in Amps)

The fuse rating can be calculated by dividing the power used by the appliance by the voltage going into the appliance.

I (Amps) = P (Watts) ÷ V (Voltage)

To calculate the fuse rating for a 1KW (1000 watts) appliance, divide the wattage (1000) by the voltage (230).

I (Amps) = P (Watts) 1000 ÷ V (Voltage) 230

I (Amps) = 4.35

A five amp fuse would be required.
