So everyday at work I talk to my coworkers about the hobby and all the different vids and pins I am always looking at to buy. I got stuck at work all day today and my boss came in for half the day just in case it got at all busy. Right before he is getting ready to leave, his 13 year old son calls and asks to talk to me. Turns out he was at a garage sale and found a working Pacman that was just marked best offer and they had an offer for $250. I am pretty sure he ended up picking it up for $300. I just think it's pretty awesome to get another kid excited about arcades and into the hobby.

So, a 13 year old boy begins his arcade collection with a working Pac-Man, nice! I'll bet he didn't even care what revision the control panel overlay was or if it was a reproduction! =)

Those who can do, those who can't, post about it. Ad nauseum.

Yep I figured I would get a couple of responses like that! I wasn't going to go there but I will say the kid has a game and no posts, which i think is wayyyyy better than 0 games and 1500ish posts.

Can't do that to my bosses kid, I have known him since he was about 3 years old! I did tell my boss though if in 6 months he is bored with it and it is just collecting dust to let me know and I will buy it from him for what he paid.

Then wheel it across the street, put a multi-PCB inside, then leave it on the sidewalk in plain view from the kid's house with a sign that reads: "FS $2500 OBO"
