Made a higher quality Pac-Man schematic scan

Sorry guys. Someone hacked my web site and I haven't gotten around to getting comcast to nuke it so that I can put it back up.

How did you go about scanning in the first place. I've got the 4-board TKG2 and TKG3 schematics for the old DK uprights but I don't want to unstapel them from the book to scan them.

I scanned each 8"x12"-ish section separately and used photoshop to seam them all together and painted a mask between the layers.

It is pretty time consuming, and is why I haven't done a lot more. My photoshop skills are weak though. :)

To do them right, they really need to be redrawn in a 'real' schematic capture program so they can be exported in a vector format instead of a raster format, but that's even more work, and adds the chance of transcription errors (as if I haven't seen enough erroneous factory schematics to begin with...)

I'd prefer to just do them in photoshop to avoid errors.

If someone wants to send me a hard-copy donkey kong schematic, I can take care of making one that's the same quality as the pac-man one that I did (mentioned earlier in the thread. . . avoid my link though since my site is full of malware!)

PM me your address and I will send you what I have.

If you go through that trouble, just finish the layout and make a run of boards. :D

Got your manuals. They aren't original, so I'm not going to be able to do any better than the scans that are out there already except that I can stick them into one image.

Doh! Just found this, which is possibly what you need!

If there is more of it that you want, I'll see if I can get a hold of an original schematics package and scan it and do a nice job on it. Is that the page that you need, or do you need more?

I suspected what I had was a copy (bought it off ebay as original)
That is part of what I was looking for... I would like to get the complete two board set.

I've been sold "originals" like that on eBay before too. :(

Tell me exactly which ones you want with links to pdfs on here:

and page numbers (or the whole file if that's the case) so I know exactly what I'm looking for and I'll see what I can find.
