Made a higher quality Pac-Man schematic scan

I'll finish up the pac-man booklet and do more. Any in particular that are interesting?

So far I have the originals for Pac-Man and Centipede. Defender, Omega Race, and Asteroids Deluxe are on the way.

I suppose I need to figure out how to make a PDF so that I can do the whole book in a single file.

I scanned in the 3 pages and did the photoshop work for the pac-man logic board version b schematic. This is nice for panning around the whole schematic on your computer with no page breaks. This looks higher quality than most of the scans that I've seen out there, so I figured I'd share:

Very nice! I cleaned that up a bit and made it a PDF.

It's here:

What did you do to clean it up? Get rid of the dingy brown? :) I'd rather do any furthur mods on the uncompressed image (before it hits jpeg). I can send you the file before it gets jpeg'd if you want. Also, I noticed a few spots where I need to do more work on the blending between scans.

Nice job on the Defender sketchup by the way! :)

Thanks, I usually print them out and tape them together to make it one page again. It sucks flipping through pages to read a schematic.

Any feedback on this before I do more of them? Do people generally want the aged brown-ness of the paper removed?

Yeah, I got rid of the yellow background. Used the Color Replacer tool. If you want to send them pre-jpgd, I can clean them up again. It looks better with white background and it prints much nicer.

Thanks :)

I cleaned it up more of the original scans (got rid of the yellow background like Arcadenut did, made it black-and-white, etc.). Same link as before:

I think I'm done cleaning it. . starting to do layers on top of it to annotate what everything is on the board as I figure it out. Is this interesting to others?

Really nice work! Keep it up!

One that could really be cleaned up is Burger Time, man those schematics suck :(

NOTE!! I'd avoid my site for now. Apparently I'm being reported as having malware on my site via Norton and Google. I think my site has been compromised. I'll post when it's all clear.

Any chance someone would ever do a hi-res version of Donkey Kong? That schematic is begging to be cleaned up

The link you posted above is actually trying to take me to a Russian URL. (.ru) so, yeah something went wrong.

I had a copy of the schematic on my hard drive (since I found it very useful), so I put the file online here in the meantime in case anyone needs it:
