Mine has done that when the computer inside is not booting. Do you know if the computer turned on when you plugged it in?

Have to look at in am off to work. Clean cab whats the price range on these as i will be posting fs/ft soon thx

a guy I worked for had one of these, same situation. the video card wound up having blown caps on it.

verify the CMOS battery isn't dead and that it didn't lose the power on AC setting in the BIOS; you should be able to turn the comp on manually via power button.

more info i am computer challenged so here we go.. plugged in got no signal on screen. i then found power button on computer and it turned on (see Pic) with error. i am guessing i need a keyboard to hook up and go from there......love this monitor with vga hook up!

replace the battery. if you have a manual, I would venture those jerkos at Global VR would instruct what to set everything to in the BIOS. if not you'll have to use your own discretion if you know your way around PCs well.

the obvious item is under the power settings. the AC power setting should be turned to always on or whatever they call it.

you need to change a few things in the BIOS.

I dont know the exact pages but:

Halt on ----> NO failures.
1.44" floppy drive ---> NONE
Power after power failure ---> ON/Full ON something like that
Boot order ---> CDROM then hard drive (only important when you need to restore the game).

Funny, I just fixed one of these today. :)

we dumped all the last of the GVR stuff here. I will probably never have the displeasure of working on one ever again.

GVR games can be a struggle sometimes. I've managed to iron out a lot of the problems with the help of one of my techs.

I conquered NFS Underground. considering the game room caters to like 3 and 4 year old kids though, racing games weren't a good fit; I thus motioned for them to get sold off. they had deluxe Daytona USA 2s as well, same thing.

anyone know about what it worth? like to trade or sell it thanks

Sorry to bump your thread Paul but I figured it was appropriate since it's the same arcade and same issue. I bought this and was able to play the game by using a keyboard and setting the bios according to the global vr website. Each time the game was shut down the bios would reset back to the way the game was when I got it. I finally got around to changing the bios battery today and now the monitor doesn't detect signal from the computer. Any help is appreciated.

If you shut down to change the battery then theres a good chance that "power after power failure" reset itself back to off. That needs to be on.

In other words, it kinda sounds like your computer is not turning on. Reach into the front of the game and press the power button on the from of the PC.

I've been turning the computer on manually with the push button and it's powering. The pc is not communicating with the monitor (signal). I did replace the cmos battery in an off state.
