I have a pretty nice Mad Planets that I finished refurbishing last year. The ONLY thing about the game that I do not like is the fact that the rubber round conical "donut" (for lack of a better word) that the end shaft pin that the bottom of the stick inserts into is slightly larger than the steel locator pin that slides into the rubber section. So, when playing the game, the joystick "rotates" clockwise by a very slight amount. Unlike my Tron handle, which has absolutely NO rotational slop, this "minor" issue really nags me. The controller works fine and everything, but I do NOT like how the handle rotates ever so slightly when I move it around. I tried to wedge something in between the pin and the rubber section, but this was a very temporary fix, as it worked itself out rather quickly. As far as I can tell, nothing short of replacing the rubber section (which really means replacing the bottom section of the controller) is going to fix this. Does anyone know if this is a serviceable item or if new parts are available to fix this? My guess is that I am going to have to find a good used one from someone on here. If anyone has a fix, please let me know. Thanks...
