Mad Planets Flyer - Blown Up

Well, this project is getting ever closer to being finished. I painted a new (and so far the biggest) planet in the mural. I used a homemade compass to get the arc, then painted it in craft and black light paints. I fired up 2 of 4 black lights to get a feel for what it will look like fully illuminated. I took some pics with the camera on night landscape setting with no flash. Next will be to finish the shading and add a moon in the foreground, then I think it will be done. For now. Tell me what you think so far:

Are you going to hide the black light some how? Like a row at the top or bottom and build something in front of it, so all you get is the glow.

Hey thanks man. I plan to mount a blacklight above it and on each side. I am trying to figure out if I should build mounting boxes for them or just mount them to the wall. I'll probably have to do some kind of boxes to integrate them into the wall. I need to hide the cords too.

String line, pivot point (thumb tack) and a white out pen. We only use the latest tech at the Outer Limits.

Nah, that mural stays. It looks cool in conjunction with my painting, and was less work. I wish this was a public arcade, as I feel the world would love hanging here after school and on weekends. I need to finish up the Gorf and Space Invaders and get those fellas in here.
