MAD Amusements question

Is this company based in the United States, or somewhere else?
I am thinking of ordering a few things and have never done business with them before.
Any info/opinions on this company would be welcomed.
They are about the only one that have the part I need, so I was just wondering what to expect.

they are located in the US in NJ i just bought a DMD from him, i would highly suggest them, prices are awesome and so is the service, i will do business in the future when i need more items

heck if you have any questions shoot him an e-mail or a phone call, i took about 20 minutes of his time telling him in my newb lame mans terms what i needed, and him telling me what i needed. very knowledgeable.

Yup, I give them an A+. They've even given me partial shipping refunds when shipping was cheaper than what the shopping cart calculated.

They have parts that you can't find anywhere else. Packed a fragile item very well for shipping. Good Guy in my book.

...unless you are overseas. Just about everyone I know from Australia that has ordered from him has had to wait at least 4+ weeks just for Mike to SHIP the parts.
Then there's transit time. It took 2 months to get my last order.

I guess we get a low-priority back seat...:confused:

I won't order from him again unless there is no alternative.
 
Thanks for the input, really appreciate it as I havent had to order much stuff online, moneys tight and want to get best bang for the buck, waiting for parts to come in the mail is TORTURE!.
 
I placed my first order with Mike this past December and it won't be my last. His shopping cart must have over charged me for shipping and he credited back my paypal account which I thought was nice and I read this exact same thing with other people's experience ordering from him.

Mike's shopping cart indeed overcharges for everyone actually but he refunds the overage. For example his cart charged me $15 for shipping a set of tiny PCBs for my TZ and the corrected charge was $5.50. Mike's a good guy, I have bought plenty from him with no issues at all.

I wish everyone would do that. I've overpaid by hundreds at this point on shipping pin parts over the years :(

Just a quick update

I got an Email from Mike at MAD amusements letting me know that there was a slight delay on shipping. No big deal on my end.
I just thought it was pretty awesome that he would go out of his way to let me know instead of just letting me wait!
He also refunded the difference on shipping.
Pretty awesome considering it was a small order, He really came thru with BIG SERVICE
Stand up guy in my book and definitely look forward to doing business with again.
