This was part of the recent rare haul I had, I can't keep them all so this one has to go. I hope the pictures do it justice, it is really a beautiful collector quality machine.

Everything worked perfectly and this Lunar Lander was in a collector's home for the past 18 years, but I decided to thoroughly shop it out for the next collector. I've recapped the GO5-801, replaced the chassis transistors and added fresh thermal grease, replaced Big Blue, and recapped the AR board, I also installed a new power cord using the original Molex termination. The cab has been cleaned top to bottom and inside, everything works perfectly from the coin door light to the marquee. There is also a new lock and key installed, and I disassembled, cleaned and lubricated the thrust controller and it is excellent. I installed new t-molding just as the original with the single seam centered in the bottom of the cab side.

The edge connector is perfect and the original AR board is flawless as well with no burn't resistors or hacks. The original board works perfectly and is a flawless original, free of any repair work.

The control panel is original and excellent, the painted artwork is really really nice as is the thruster. Personally I think that's a key item on any Lunar Lander, and this one is perfect. Usually the chrome is eaten away on the handle, and this chrome is perfect as is the plastic thruster guard and Mission Select "under marquee". All the Mission lights work correctly as do all the controls and buttons. It's set on free play, but the coin gear and original coin box are included and they function perfectly as does the coin light. The marquee isn't washed out, that's just the camera exposure to show the monitor properly. The marquee has a small scratch in the "D" but is otherwise excellent.

The cabinet is nice with tight t-molding slots, it does have nicks and chips which I've touched up carefully with black enamel, there is a scrape down low about 8 inches from the bottom on the left side that penetrates the vinyl artwork and runs from front to back. It's in the plain black area and I touched it up with black enamel. At the very bottom on both sides only, the cab has very light swelling. The game sat on wet carpet when clean water from a split garden hose spigot got to it- not sewage or floodwater. There isn't any smell or mold whatsoever. It isn't swollen on the sides, just the lower front corners and is really isn't noticable.

It certainly isn't swollen like Atari cabs usually get when exposed to water, there isn't any "cauliflower texture" on the cab sides, just the bare edges swelled slightly.

Since it's a collectible machine, I'm just being overly descriptive on the flaws- it's really outstanding and most collectors wouldn't notice the bottom of the cab unless they got down on their knees to examine it, given the quality of the rest of the game, I think it would do much better than the previous ones sold on eBay.

The boards and monitor appear to be original to the game, and everything works perfectly with an awesome picture and sound.

I'm asking $1125.00 and I'm located just outside Kansas City in Shawnee, KS Zip 66226.
