Lunar Lander Sideart project (* * Complete Now * * )

(NOW COMPLETE)

Hi

I am working on re-making Sideart for my Lunar Lander Machine

Here is a sample (about 20% scale)

I have been going at it for months, at night whenever I can

A huge thanks goes to Dan (djw90) for the dozens of hi res pics he took and emailed to me. Thanks again mate

I have done about 75% of the whole sideart, so I need to keep at it

Here's a sample

Constructive comments welcome

Thank you

That is awesome!!! You are indeed very brave to undertake this undertaking.

What application are you using to re-create the sideart?

Cheers

Patience will be needed, I started the sideart project about 2008, and then restarted in Dec 2009 it when Dan (djw90) sent me excellent high res pics

Is a trend here 2010 you will be finished LOL , good luck...

LMK if you need more pics. My LL is in pretty good shape.

Will you be making this art available to others to repair/rebuild their LL cabinets? I can understand the amount of work this takes. I personally have no skill set when it comes to graphics. The best I can do is spray black spray paint to redo the front of an Atari cabinet. Of course some sort of renumeration would be in order to compensate you for your time. This is well overdue.

Being a GD I can understand the enjoyment in recreating some of this fine arcade artwork. But I thought Rich had the original films for LL and was already planning on doing the side art soon enough.
