All,

I know that there is a version of Lunar Lander that can be played with Asteroid controls.

How does it work? Is it a ROM swap?

I am hoping to get it working on my MultiVector.

Just wondering what is currently in your multivector?

Which LL/Asteroid games or the entire list?

Maybe I'm asking the wrong question. I was under the impression you had a vector cab that could run multiple vector games with some sort of switch or something. Is that a correct assumption or am I way off?

You are correct.

Its a ZVG board in a Space Duel cab.

It runs all the Vectors (AFAIK), but I have removed a bunch as they are not really playable (SW/ESB, cocktail/4person versions, etc).

I want Lunar Lander on there, but I have no thruster on the CP

Ah, that's cool. Ironically, I just saw a Lunar Lander yesterday while picking up new locks for my Dynamo cab. It wasn't on, so I don't know if it was working or not. But that big 'ol thruster control was right there in plain sight.

There's a bootleg version of Asteroids that runs on LL hardware (it's in MAME), but I'm not aware of any existing way to play LL with Asteroids controls.... except for the multi-game that Scott Brasington is designing: (EDIT: FIXED URL) http://www.brasington.org/arcade/products/adl/

But it isn't out yet (except for beta testers). And it's not just a ROM swap, it's a small daughter board. As I understand it, ZVG relies on MAME to provide the game emulation, so you'd need to wait for:
1) the Braze multi-game kit it to be released
2) someone to dump Scott's custom EPROM
3) someone to write a MAME driver to support the daughterboard hardware & load the EPROM.
