Lunar Lander Found on Ebay

LL

If it sells for $1000 +, P.T. Barnum was right.

Nice, working ones, not in a basement sell for between $800 and $1200. My fear is (knowing the area and working in the drainage business in that time) they had record rain the last couple years. If it has seen any water and if the house was struck by lightining since both games listed, died at the same time. It is located very near the Ohio river. I buy a lot of games from that area and half of them have seen water at one time or the other. These people have learned to live with it somehow. If you have ever bought a vector game that has been hit by lightining, you know what I am saying. My guess on the final price is less than $600. Someone local will buy this one. It is not worth paying a mover to get it out of the basement and then shipping on top of that. I might be wrong but I will be real surprised.

hmmmmmmm,,,, both games went out at same time, both dead, seller doesnt know why just they both went out one day together. He mentions"so I am guessing it was some type of power surge", here's a guess, a blast of lightning to the house?

>bid still climbing

I wont be bidding. good luck to Aaron or the other locals. i dont want to run this up. I feel it is not worth much more than $450 if there is no water damage. Seller is not giving much info. Dont go crazy on this guys, remember not working!!

Yeah, I feel Stadium Events for NES is not worth much more than $2. Doesn't make it true.

Not working dedicated Lunar Landers are worth more than $450.

thats unreal. I seen working ones and in great condition for that price, not a non-working one. I was in it for awhile.....anyways, saved me alot of money........lol

There have been several auctions in recent weeks that have ended at prices way beyond what the typical KLOV tightass would ever consider paying. Let these auctions be a lesson to you guys that "just can't believe it" that this forum has very little bearing on the "value" of games.

I knew it would pull close to that, i indicated $1,100 and wasn't far off. They are rare and pretty easy to fix. Having it on eBay was a bonus for the seller as everyone that is looking for one goes there 1st, it's just too easy.
