I have a Lucky Horseshoe slot machine in need of repaired, I believe this is a Sega slot? It spins and seems to work fine, although Im not sure of which country coin its for but a dime seems to work, but it will not pay off when it is a winning combo line up? could this be a easy fix, the coin sleeve jammed? I am in Pittsburgh Pa. and if someone knows of someone in this area that works on these or has a idea of how to check it? thanks for the info, I work on EMs and am learning on those type games but have never attempted slots.

Slot

Check for a hopper filled switch. If you do not have enough coins in the hopper it will not pay out. I have not worked on a sega but I see it on the wm's and IGT lots. You might have to dump some coins in and find the maual hopper cycle switch and let the slot know it has coins.

I don't think there is a hopper fill switch? I can see only a tube deep in side? this is set up for a European 240v so I thought it might need power to work but I got a transformer and it only made the lights come on but still didn't payoff? I have been looking for a manual but no luck, I saw one of these for sale in a antique shop in Berlin MD. where they had a lot of EM arcade games and slots but they had no info or manual etc.? I have a newer electronic push the buttons to stop type slot that has a big bowl type to fill with coins but this only seems to have a tube? I would like to know if I can just slide this units guts out of the shell to look better without some spring or something flying off!!!!

I believe that is a German Sega slot and uses the old Deutsche Marks. There is no "hopper" on these slots, just the tube which would be filled with coins for payout. I think a nickle is close in size, but I don't know for sure, sorry. It States it pays out in tokens, so that tube would be full of tokens and DM's would be diverted to the cash box.

I will have to dig inside I guess to look. Thanks for info on tokens? Where did u get info? I could.t find any thing! I used a dime and it works most of the time but with no payoff? So could be sleeve named?

Scratch the nickle idea if a dime fits, sorry... I mentioned token payout because in your picture of the slot it says; "Pays tokens" on the front of the machine.

DUH !!!!! I didn't even notice the pays out in Tokens marquee !!!.....thanks I will have to yank out the guts and see what I can make sense out of what I see.

i sent you a pm to call me,ill fill you in . dont yank anything yet.
