Hey all,

I have a Chicken Machine in not so great condition. I would like to fix it up, and I think everything is there, but nothing is wired up.

I'm looking for scans or high res images of the service manual/schematics and some high res images of the board/wiring etc...

Any help would be appreciated. I think the Flintstones Egg machine is similar if anybody has that info available.

Cheers!

I have a fun chicken, its old school so dont know if it would help but i can try to snap some pics of the board later if you want.

Post a picture of the board style you have...there are two different ones with different style connectors that I know of...I own a Flintstone lucky egg and have both board versions...once I know which board you have I can post pictures of those style connectors...not really to complicated.

Awesome... I will take pictures tonight when I get home.

Board pics would be nice too just in case I am missing something or somethings broken.

From what I remember, there really isn't much to the board at all.

Actually, if I remember correctly, the "board" is literally that... a bunch of components on a piece of MDF or something. Not the typical PCB type board.

Anyway, I will snap the pics tonight...looking forward to seeing what it is supposed to look like inside.

Cheers!

Here's some pictures I took of my Flintstones lucky egg machine and the paperwork it came with hope I can help? Sorry for the crappy pics they were taken with my camera phone.

Wow, $259 for that? I used to have a working one I bought for $10 at auction that I am pretty sure I just gave away to noice87.

Orangewhip,
I just picked up the Chicken Machine Lucky Eggs, the board looks the same. Did you ever find schematics. I have the manual, but it doesn't give a board schematic. My kicked off my GFI everytime I plugged it in. I replaced the transformer with one from radio shack and it works now. Lights, sounds and eggs dispense.

Hey MC35,

No I never did find one, and my cabinet is still just sitting here...

If you have the time, mind snapping a few pics for me of the boards, motor, wiring, etc??

Mine was all in pieces...I have figured out most of the wiring, but not all of it.

Congrats on getting yours to work...besides the other pics, I would love to see overall shots too. There just isn't too much info about these out there...and I know there were everywhere when I was a kid!

Actually, now that I think about it... does yours have the background image? Mine is missing...a hi-res image of the artwork would be very helpful too!

Cheers!

Brad. As soon as my charger for my camera turns up I will snap some pics. As far as the schematics, I can scan them and post them here. The board is fairly simple. and if you need any help once you get the schematics let me know. For starters the first thing I did was disconnect the plug on the board and activate the coin switch. you have to toggle it. The chicken turned and delivered an egg. just no music. From what I gather, the board is only there for sound.
Let me know how that works out.

mine has no music just the clucking sound as the hen spins, and its still working :)
im up to over 600 eggs and it still could use proly 3-400 more
