Hello! Just purchased a Lucky 8 Lines arcade game, and it turns on but will not coin. Cant really find much on the internet about the game.
I am hoping to find someone that has one to help me out!

Any ideas? Ive checked the wires and they are good. Not really sure where to go from here

By "checked the wires", do you mean with a test meter to check for +5 voltage from the coin switch to the board and for continuity in the wires between the coin switch and the board? If you don't have a test meter, turn the power off, mark the harness connectors so you know which sides face the parts side of the board, remove the game board, and clean the four edge connections on both sides with alcohol or a soft eraser. Reinstall the board and try it again (don't forget to reconnect the smaller harness). If it still doesn't work, you are going to need a test meter to find the problem.

Ok so i undid the electric tape and found the white wire was disconnected. Reconected and when i put a coin it, it makes the sound of being coined, but then displays Hopper Jam Call Attend.

Also, there are two yellow wires that are attached to the White and Black wires, and were at sometime attached to the same wires but a little higher up. They are been cut and disconnected by someone. They dont make sense to me. ANy ideas?

So im getting closer but not sure why its not working??

First off, you need to secure that game board so it isn't just hanging in there like that.

Now, that setup is basically the exact same thing as the Cherry Master I have, although mine has no coin inputs (only dollar bill input). I also don't have a hopper. Here is a scan of the dip switch settings and pinout of mine. It might help you with yours...

Yeah this game is really rough, I couldnt believe they had the board hanging there all this time. Another thing ive found that has me way confused is the pin is completely wired differently than the manual says. The huge pin at the top goes from A1 to 39R. On the board it says A on the left and 39 on the right.
Well the pin is wired backwards to say the least. The 39r pin is plugged in where it says A1.

Help!

Also, mine had a dollar bill, but someone took a hammer too it. i have it, but im pretty sure its toast. that is why that lame poster in on the front of the game, its covering ahole.

This is a copy from the manual. I think they have the white wire to the Coin SW C. Is that correct, or do i need to fix it?

The numbers 1 thru 36 are the pin numbers for the parts side of the board, the letters are for the solder side of the board. Either coin in pin can be used depending on how one desires to set up credits, such as extra credits for bills. Normally the bill acceptor credit and ground wires are simply tied into the coin acceptor wires, with the bill acceptor providing multiple pulses of credit. So, those cut off wires were probably from the bill acceptor. As for the coin hopper jam, I would guess that has to be fixed with the dip switch settings. I am not familiar with W4 game settings, as that is one of the earliest afaik. Remember, dip switch settings can be changed with the power on, but normally changes do not take effect until the power is cycled off and on. Figuring out some of these settings can really be a pain. I wonder if youtube might have any info, they seem to have everything else.

Also you can't always trust the paperwork on these things. If the game is mostly working, one must assume the basic wiring is mostly correct. Trace the color wires from the monitor to the board, they go to one end of the harness or the other, and that will tell you which end is which. I have also encountered instructions that had some of the switch settings backwards. If dropping in a coin gives you the error, then something needs to be changed, but if you hold the coin switch closed for more than an instant that will also give you an error. Welcome to the wonderful world of 8-liners
