Pinrepair.com says to use Radio Shack clear teflon grease to lube the horseshoe contacts on the drop targets on older williams system 3-6 games. I went to radio shack, and looked it up online, couldn't find this specific item. Is it just any clear teflon grease? Can I use a tiny bit of di-electric grease? What do you guys use to lube and clean these contacts? Mine were getting hung up and not dropping all the way. Thanks.

"... Available from PinRestore.com. Or get it at precisionreloading.com/superlube.htm (get the 3 oz gel tube part# SP21030). I heard it is also at Lowe's as "Super Lube Synthetic Grease" (barcode 082353210305), but again it's not on their website. Also rumored Harbor Freight stores sell it, but again it does not appear in their website. "

back when I got my tube, the problem was finding a Radio Shack store.

"There are additional problems in this design that can cause non-dropping targets, as David Gersic explains. When reassembling the target bank, the little screws that hold the plastic rails to the metal body and that hold the wiper circuit board to the plastic rails can be over-tightened. This crushes the plastic rail just enough to drag on the targets and keep them from failing. If the drag is not too bad, the screws can be loosen. Or a shim of plastic can be fitted to give the targets more moving room. "

Thanks Marx, I will check out lowes today. I have plenty of Radio Shack stores around here, I checked them all. Nobody knew WTF I was talking about. Great.
As far as shims go, he's saying put shims in between the wiper and the drop target? or between the plastic and the circuit board?

Most likely shim between board and plastic rail. A shim between the target and wiper would jam the thing up for sure.

Radio Shack discontinued that grease several years ago. It was in reality Super Lube synthetic grease.

You can also get Super Lube at most auto parts stores.
