Lowest - or Highest - Serial Numbers

The cabinet usually has a serial number stamped into the plywood that makes up the top panel, just above the back door, iirc.
Thanks, but no-joy. This machine MAY have been restored. It is VERY clean outside and inside. Here's the top edge panel, back, and side.

Yeah, i'm guessing it has. The tag on the pcb that says Spy Hunter U/R isn't correct. That means upright, and yours is a cockpit, so its definitely had stuff swapped out. There's normally a tag stapled inside with the S/N as well, at least on the uprights.

Look at the top pcb in the stack. Does it say panning ssio, or ssio?

It's definitely been messed with. The suitcase is missing all of the big caps and the transformer, and i don't think i've ever seen a spy hunter with plywood backers for the back door. I don't have a lot of experience with cockpits, so take that with a grain of salt. If i had to guess, i'd suspect the cabinet was a repro, to replace a damaged original. But, that's mostly a guess.

It is a panning ssio, which is correct, btw.
Thanks

Thanks for the help! I now know more than I did before. :)

A new Irish Dig Dug serial #117636. This is now the lowest. Not mine but from the web. :)
This now beats my lowest number

Star Rider
Lowest - 01004 (My machine, Sit Down)
Highest - 01840 (Unknown, Loose board, not mine)

I have seen over half a dozen serials for this game, but they've all been over 1K. Is that what they started with?

I believe there's a guy on this forum that has the highest serial Radar Scope upright cabinet that hasn't been added to the document yet (link below).

I had recently found a red 5 slot Radar Scope converted to DK (not from the factory) and I thought I was going to be the highest documented Radar Scope when I submitted it, until I stumbled across this thread tonight 😢 ..
