OK guys, I'm new here, so please bear with me if I do something wrong... I recently purchased a 7' 2" Love Tester machine... I believe it is a reproduction... I know absolutely nothing about these... Any information anyone may have on the age or whatever is appreciated...

It works fairly well... I've replaced the broken bell... Here's where I stand with it... Pretty much the only thing that doesn't work properly is one of the ten light bulbs will not flash or turn off when it is supposed to... I've changed light bulbs and traced the wiring, which looks great and can't find anything wrong... Could the problem be in the "motherboard"?

In any case, I would love to get another motherboard... I have called and searched everywhere I can find with negative results... The board number is: LVB001 B...
Below that number is: 100 38 - 87...

I'm also looking to put new micro switches in it... The numbers on those are: 3TMA15-4 & 3TMT15-4...

Thanks

Please post a picture of the "motherboard". I have worked on these machines before but they were always electromechanical. I am curious what this machine looks like inside and what company made it.

There was one of these in my hometown mall for 20 years, and it opened in 1978. I know there are old versions of this and more recent ones that look nearly identical. Classic design that still 'works' after decades.

I have to wonder if that light is sort of like a switched light in a pinball machine, in that there's a transistor that switches it on and off. Could be a transistor or something that got shorted out somehow and a cheap fix.

Here are a couple of quick pictures of the board... If not good enough, I will pull board out tomorrow and try to get better pictures...

I don't know about the transistor... I really don't know much about these things, but I'd like to... They can make you feel kind of dumb sometimes...

The cabinet is in great shape... I would like to make the inside new and call it good...

Thanks for the replies... And I have to admit, I don't even know what electromechanical means... I have a lot to learn... I don't know who made it.... There are no markings...
