Hi All!

We are a little under 2 months from the 3rd Louisville Arcade Expo. Last year, we had an excellent turnout for arcades and pins. This year, we are making more room for the full size machines, as we are hoping for even more games!

** People who want to bring a machine **
Like the previous years, if you do bring a full size working arcade or pinball machine and have it on free play, you get free admission. Some people brought their machines that they wanted to trade or sell, others just brought their favorite game in their collection to share it with others.

We have a pretty good selection of games that people have told us they are bringing, including a skee ball machine. If you want to bring a game, please let us know by registering on our site (www.louisvilleArcade.com), or by emailing [email protected]. I guess you could also just post on this thread too.

** Other Show info **
If you don't want to bring a game, no big deal. There will be plenty of games, tournaments, and other events going on throughout the show. This year, we are the PAPA March pinball circuit stop, which is extremely exciting. We also have Roger Sharpe who will be doing a Q&A Session as well on Saturday!

Hope to see you all there.

Looking forward to it. Bringing the Vs SMB again (3rd year in a row. Woot) plus others.

Awesome!! Say, we are mixing up the entire layout of the main hall to where the consoles get a little bit into the mix of the arcades and pins (we are going to have a separate room like the first year for some additional consoles, just because of sound etc). I was hoping you were going to bring the VS SMB, as it would be cool to put it next to a "Mario World" that we are planning on creating.

will you guys be banning that calahan guy from the show that rips people off? babsbunny or something like that was his name on here. Bad business to let known scammers set up at shows.

I attended last year, it was a total blast. Lots of great games and a-list pins, EMs, and lots of cool and friendly people. I convinced my wife to come along too, she had been lukewarm on the arcade stuff before then -- but after a few hours of playing games she decided we needed a pinball machine and a Tempest. I call that a victory!

Still trying to decide what to bring this year...

I wouldn't say we necessarily banned him, but we got rid of our vendor room from last year (where he had a table). The only people that will be setting up booths/tables for arcade and pinball related matter are legitimate people that we respect or never had an issue in dealing with.

You know, I wish I still had my tempest from last year to bring again! Hopefully someone has one to bring (Whitney, you reading this???)

Awesome. i seriously applaud you for that move! Wish i had time/funds to come down and set up.. Whitney can tell you how cool my reproduction cabinets are, he owns some, and has been to my place before.

Well, at least that is something in the right direction but you stated last time you guys personally never had issues with him yourselves, therefore he was fine there.

Brett's cabinets are awesome, and I'll vouch for him if things were to ever work out where he could set up at the show. He's good people through and through.

I wish that I had them all finished... hopefully I'll be able to bring one or two of them next year, if all goes well.

That would be correct. We never had an issue with him up till last year's show. Now that things have changed, he won't be having a table this year.

Any chance you may make the journey north this year?

I am, and I can. :) I need to replace the power cord on it and do a few things so it, but it could make the trip. :)

That would be awesome Whitney! Thanks for doing that. The first year, there were so many people asking for tempest when the one that someone was going to bring started flaking out at the last minute. That had to be the most asked about title. I guess because you really never do see them out in the public anymore.
