Hey guys, I have a 60 in one with a computer monitor in it and the spaker has a really annoying hum When i plug in my street fighter board the hum is gone, I tried another 60 in 1 board I have and the hum is still there, i unhooked the monitor thinking it may be causing some interference and still has the hum, any ideas?

Thanks!

i had the same problem with a 48 in 1...there are several posts on here about it...mine turned out to be the coin door lights...i disconnected them and the hum stopped

could be your lights or even coin mechs...you can also hook up a powered speaker from a computer instead of an arcade type speaker , it plugs right in to the multi-board

side note: did you get the 5k pots i sent you?

My 48-in-1 makes kind of a funny sound thru the speaker while it's booting up (sorta reminds you of a hard drive spinning type of sound). Doesn't really bother me though, and it quits once it's booted up.

I hear it on some builds and not on other builds. I don't know if it's the speakers, the harness, the power supply, or what. I used to never hear it with one type of harness I got from my distributor, then they changed to a different manufacturer and I started hearing hums sometimes....

Ya I tried adjusting it, It didnt like how i had the wires running to the marquee light I moved em around and it made it alot better, still a little hum but I can live with it

Thanks guys!

Try a different power supply, that has helped for me sometimes.

Otherwise, purchase a 12 volt automotive line filter used for car audio applications. Basically a large capacitor that filters out 60Hz hum on that power line.
