police 911

i am buying a police 911 about 2 hours away from me. does the sensor bar come off the top? I have NEVER bougth an arcade machine before. If it comes off what screw types are they? Thanks for your help!!

Good luck with the sale. I have that same Spiderman Cab and it makes a great Mame cabinet. I just slapped a JPAC and IPAC in there with an ArcadeVGA and now it's great because we can play all the old 4-player games now. And it's simple to put it back the way it was....just don't hack anything up or put trackballs in it or anything like that.

The only dud is that it's only 2 buttons per player.

An added bonus is that it has really cool artwork on it that really spruces up the gameroom.

I have not taken mine apart and it is sitting together as one full machine right now. Typically the newer games use a lot of Torx security bits so I would make sure you have a set of those around and then a few of the standard ones.

Thanks jehui. I have now sold the Monte Carlo and the Spiderman. I am regretting selling the SM for the exact reason you mention. It would be a perfect little MAME machine and my kid really liked it. I have already told the person I sold it to that I will buy it back any time.
