Lost world ram error ic94

I decided to run the diagnostics on this board and one of the ram chips showed up bad. Is this easily fixed just by swapping out the chip? Or is it somthing that will require mailing to repair?

Depends...what type ram chip is it? Locate the ram and get the numbers off it. See if its socketed or soldered on. See if its surface mount or through hole. All these things will affect whether its a snap job or more involved.
Then again sometimes a ram error doesnt neccesarily mean a bad ram, could be other things in the circuit.

Im pretty sure its vram as there are minor graphical glitches and when it gets to the part where it tests that memory block the screen goes haywire for a moment. I will tear it apart tommorw and see if I can find where its located Im assuming it will be soldered down just becuase thats the way things are going this week. Well at least Im going to get to play some mass effect 2 tonight woot that should cheer me up.
