I'd like to thank all the klov guys that came to my party on saturday. It was a great time! Some of the old high scores fell, and fun was had by all. I had the 80's music cranked up, plenty of beer, and the classics were on and being played for a little over 9 hours. No major breakdowns either! Here's some pics:

Pic #1: neighbor boys having a blast on Gun Fight. They were so happy to play that game. Who needs an X-Box?

Pic #2: Phet and my wife playing Gun Fight. She beat him 8-3.....come on man!

Pic #3: Jim(YodaInMn) on Asteroids Deluxe, and Tim B.(4th fastest perfect pac man game) playing Mr. Do! Tim brought his recently published books and did a book signing for everyone.

Pic #4: Allen(alejandromad), Brad(smalltownguy2), and Rick(rainman154) chewing the fat in the cinema lounge area.

More Pics:

Pic #1: My Sprint 2 that Andre(rhombus) delivered to me on party day. The loyal fellow klov'rs helped my haul it down into the arcade.

Pic #2: random shot, Jim(MythTrip), Erik(zookeeper), and Phetty in this shot.

Pic #3: Erik(zookeeper), Tom(Gorf69), Brad(smalltownguy2), Phetty, and Tim(pac man ace)

Pic #4: Klov members shot: from bottom left to right-
Jeremy(alejandromad's son),(Allen) alejandromad,(Rick) rainman154, (Andre) rhombus
2nd row from left- (Tom) Gorf69, (Me) gorfchampion, (Jim) MythTrip, (Brad) smalltownguy2
3rd row(standing)- Paul (zookeepers brother), (Erik) zookeeper, (Tim) pac-man ace, (Duane) cpu.slave, (Shawn) Phetishboy, (Jim) YodaInMn), and I hope I get the last gentleman right...Dave? Correct me if I'm wrong Brad. I know he's a klov member as well...

Party started at 3PM and I shut the games off at 12:35AM. I had probably 30+ people roll thru The Lost Highway Arcade when it was all said and done. My only regret is that when you're the host you have to spread yourself kinda thin. Thanks again for coming guys!

I guess so, he failed the shoe-tie sobriety test? Anyway, here's Brad's video from the other thread:

John, first off, thanks man. The Lost Highway was truly as described... awesome, unique and really far away from civilization! lol!
Thanks to you and your wife for opening your house to all of us. Your hospitality was great and everyone had a great time.
Prizes were sweet and the atmosphere was perfect.
A BIG thanks to CRANK (Keith) for giving me find a "FREE" Tempest marquee. It's so much better than mine. Straight up cool man.

And now for the pics....

What was the high score for SI that evening? I only could get 3K then...

I don't think anyone beat my whopping 4,500....

Andre' ended up beating my Missile Command score with 37K, and put up a killer 5 ship score on Defender of 109,200. That was fun to watch. He also took my Wild Kingdom EM home for repairs....

I gotta give a BIG shout out to "Crank" (keith) who went out of his way to make sure he sent a FREE Tempest marquee to the party so I could have it. He didn't ask for money, just wanted a fellow gamer to be happy. That was straight up cool man. Something that should happen more from everyone and I really appreciate it!
It's gonna be great on my machine!

As usual, it was a great time. Visiting with everyone, playing some games (while demonstrating some very poor skill - not my night), and enjoying the atmosphere. The next one will not come soon enough, and we all know it will show off even more changes and additions to the Lost Highway.

I'll admit I never thought about moving a game with a log chain... and it made it down without incident. It was great playing that Sprint, I don't think I've played one in over 30 years...

I don't think ANYONE'S played sprint in over 30 years.

WOW! Now that it is what it's all about! Looks like the party was a HUGE hit!

Young kids playing Gunfight.....the turnstile in action.....a Sprint 2 machine being carried in......wives playing games......dogs and cats living together......mass hysteria! :)

And John......even more details in your cade than I ever noticed before. I love the 'The Lost Highway Chronicles' clock! ;)

Excellent to see how nice those theatre seats work out in a party setting.....and that one picture with the flash off and the couple playing Sea Wolf looks Norman Rockwell-ish....
