for sale is a Skate or Die arcade game. It was bought in June and works perfect. Its in MINT condition! It also comes with a custom 720 neon sign. Please email for additional pics or ask any questions. A must have for any collector or skateboarder!

asking 2,000 for both - its a steal!

I bet that is from the Nike (or Rebook?) TV shoot that was done over the summer.
Vintage Arcade restored the game for them.

in huntington beach this last summer Nike had converted a hotel at the beach to a hang out for their athletes surfing at the us open.. one of the converted hotel rooms was a 720 themed room.. after the summer the converted the whole hotel back and auctioned off everything there.. maybe this is from that room?

cl post is no longer valid..

I've been meaning to do an update on my site about this.

At last year's CAX I had a 3am hallway conversation about Gene's (Vintage Arcade) super fast restoration and delivery of a 720 for Nike. The original explanation from Nike was that it was needed for some sort of photo shoot or commercial, but now I think it may have been for this event: The Nike "Motel No Tell" at the US Open of Surfing. As Joe mentioned above, they basically deck out a bunch of rooms to match themes for their shoes; one was 720 and included the neon sign and game that showed up on CL. Here is the site: http://www.nike6motelnotell.com/pics/inside-the-motel

And here is the original pic from the 720 room:

Pretty cool!

Guess I spoke too soon. The seller contacted me this morning with these additional pics. I'm going to follow up with him to see if I can get some more details.

Eh, as long as it's spaced enough, it should be fine. You can always modify that if you feel the need too.

Too friggin cool, but I'm not sure I'd drop that much on the combo unless I was a crazed 720 fan with the extra dough!

And what's up with the grey front, I don't think I've ever seen one with grey there.. One off or a variant?
