Looks like a good deal if you live in CT or close by.....(Not Mine)

I can save you all the hassle. I was there about 1.5 months ago. I made a deal with the guy, I forget his name. He is a heavy smoker and has a raspy voice. I brought Gunsmoke and another friend with me all the way to CT (He told me 1.5 hours, it was over 2 hours). We hitched a trailer and had to pay for that as well! When we got there, he blatantly lied. Originally, he said he had a ghosts n' goblins which gunsmoke was interested in. I was interested in the mousetrap. Mousetrap had a cracked Marquee but everything else on the cab looked alright. The game did not work. The only game that worked that we could see was the double dragon but it was not playable. Something was wrong with the monitor and you could not make out what was going on the screen.

My advice to any of you is if you want to invest your free time in looking at total shit, have fun. Like I said, the only cab worth looking at was the Mousetrap. I offered him $100 and walked away because he would not budge. That cab should be sold for $25. The others, $10 each. Crap on top of crap. If any of you go, he will try to sell you a box of crappy pcb's and linear power supplies for $50.

Strutrac met us too! He can vouch what I am saying is 100% accurate!

I just talked to the guy and I'm planning on going down to look tommorow. I actually bought some of my first games and pcb's from these guys about 15 + years ago. Back then the guy I dealt with seemed alright. I'll probably go down there for old time sake.

If you live close by, no harm done. If you are coming from out of state like I did, save your gas.

yeah you can read more about this in this thread "Craigslist Nightmare, Turns Into "Let's play 100.00 dollar cab!": http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=103391&highlight=craigslist+nightmare

or on my blog / website: www.guscade.com

well I ended up with an unexpected project / added a pac-man early into my collection, but that dude in CT was wrong on various levels. If you wanted to see two girls one cup in someones garage, that's pretty much what you'll see (minus the girls and the cup).

This is why this forum is golden. We protect each other, or at least we try to. Thanks for the warning.
