check out my cap I made for the outrun steering wheel. its brushed aluminum with a vinyl sticker that i cut out on a vinyl cutter. it shines nice in the light, but its not obtrusive like the originals are. It looks pretty slick.

I must say that's quite an original idea and nicely done but I'm with jow on this as i do not like it much.

That Bright cheap yellow ferrari style emblem in the center of the wheel, that emblem is just so out there that it is screaming: Steal me !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now what's an Out Run cab that still has such an emblem? AWESOME!!

but if that doesnt tickle your fancy, then any outrun restorer out there will appreciate these. aluminum gears, especially gear B. my baby drives better than my car now.

Wouldn't aluminum be too soft for gears that take abuse like that? In the first pic, it looks as though aluminum is discoloring the white plastic gear where they come in contact?

It Is O.K. Actually not bad at all . You put some effort into it . Not Origional , But ok in my Book. Make me one for the game I put on location that I removed so nobody stole to sell on Greed Bay.

i would think so as well, gears are usually made out of plastic for games for a reason. i would think the teeth are going to wear down from being too soft, even if this is just a game gear.
