Looking to build a monitor work station...what r the bare essentials?

I have a Galaga arcade that the cab is trashed...i am going to gut it and take the internals and make a monitor work station.

I do have craftymechs monitor thingy.....would this be all i need instead of using the pcb (which needs repaired also).......i figured i could take the transformer....tube...switching power supply...craftymechs device and that would be all i need to test chassis....right now it has a g07 in it and i have 10 g07 chassis that all have issues (2 of which ive posted about the last 3 days).

Anyway....am i thinking correctly with what im needing to set up a work station?

If all you are going to be using is the TPG then you don't need a switching power supply since it runs on a 9V battery.

You can wire up a power supply for your monitor using a line filter, line fuse, and isolation transformer. But if you can afford it buy yourself a used ISOTAP off of ebay. I love mine and it can be dialed in to whatever voltage I want so I can work on 100v monitors or regular 110v by turning a dial.

If you want to use a jamma game board for burn in testing then you will need a switching power supply, controls, and a board in addition to everything else.

I have a BK Isopack that I haven't used yet. might need to soon. I have a power cord with a molex breakout where I can switch between 2 and 3 pin monitor plugs that would go straight into that. I have 3 dead K7000s at the shop, I might have to try this later.
