ATX power supply has been replaced
Motherboard has been replaced
HDD is original, but I had to replace the IDE cable (with power injector) to connect the HDD
BIOS has been cleared

After getting into BIOS and disabling the floppy drive, the motherboard will POST, boots, gets through the splash screen ("Loading Game System" - the progress bar will go to complete), then the screen goes blank.
On the front panel, Player 1, Player 3 and the red buttons are lit. Then nothing happens. I can hear the HDD spinning (it sort of gets picked up in the cabinet speaker)
The interface board is showing power, and LED is blinking. I tried pushing the RESET and PROGRAM MODE ACCESS BUTTON on the I/O board- no change on monitor.

I am wondering if there is anything special that needs to be configured in BIOS, since the COM port is being used to communicated with the I/O board, and perhaps the IRQs need to be be specified to something different than default.

Does anyone have experience with this dart board who can offer any guidance?

Thanks!

Issue resolved- The replacement motherboard I was using had a bad COM port.

This was determined by removing the motherboard from the came, and trying to set it up as a standard PC. I installed windows XP on a separate HDD (leaving the game HDD unattached!), and realizing that no matter what drivers, etc, I installed, I could not the the COM port (or the FLOPPY port), to be recognized by Windows.
