I just dug out the computer that has my PB10 programmer and the drive has died. I need a copy of the PB10 softare so that I can use the programmer. I have not had any luck looking online for the software. Can anyone give me a copy of the software or point me to a place where I might be able to download it?

I have an EMP20 that will program 27xx series fine, but wont program 2532s. It wont validate them as Erased either (even after theyve been in the UV eraser all day). It will read them ok. Anybody else had trouble with this?

Are you configuring the software/progger to expect a 2532? Because they've got a different pinout to a 2732 so that could explain why your blank check and programming isn't working.

I have got the software installed but I am having trouble getting the right port base for this to work. I looked at the instuctions and I know that you change the port base on the card by setting the dipswitches.

I need to know how to figure out what ports are available on the computer so that I can set the card to an open port. Anybody have any idea how to figure out what ports are opened on a computer?

You using DOS or windows?

Device manager should be able to tell you which ports different cards are using if you've got drivers loaded.

PB10 can't be set to use ports that interfere with normal MB ports, and PCI cards generally only use the high address space, so the only things that can really interfere are other ISA cards.
