I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I have a Neo Geo 2 slot. I want to be able to add 2 buttons (I have 4), and be able to play 6 button Jamma games (like SF2 for example). So, I think I need a switcher and an adapter of some sort.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

would I be better off converting this back to a jamma cab? I think it was a MK3 before. What would it take to scrap the neo geo altogether and make it a jamma?

Basically you would have to rewire the cab for jamma, probably wouldn't be that hard as it's already a "Jamma" connector in there, just wired up a bit differently, and changing it would only involve a few cuts and splices. Plus then you would have to wire in the kick harness for the extra 2 buttons per player.
Or you could rip all the wiring out and buy a new Jamma harness from Bob Roberts, though I'm not sure I would go that route unless the wiring was in bad shape...

all you ever need to know about mvs

as for the above post about a few cuts and splices arggggggg dont say that someone will actually do that its super easy to just pull the pin for the edge connector and place it into a diffrent socket

for a 2 slot the best i to have a seprate set of speakers in tha cab
one set with a headphone jack plug attached and the other standard jamma setup
that way to play jamma boards its just plug an play
when you ant to play the 2 slot just plug the sound into the head phone jack on the board so you have stereo sound still

It's not a dedicated MVS so I'm making the assumption that there are already cuts and splices, but yeah, I probably shouldn't make that assumption...
