I just picked up a nonworking Grappler arm wrestling machine but I have no paperwork or information on it. I'm trying to get it working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm having trouble finding any information. It sounds like it was manufactured by Gametek in Canada but the wiring diagram shows Wagner Engineering as the company on it. Who knows.
Thanks in advance!

Well that's pretty interesting. I presume you sit on the side
of the cabinet to play ?

Yeah those round silver discs are actually switches where you put your elbows. It has a hydraulic ram that moves the arm in the base of the game.

I got it to boot up but it gives a few error codes. Unfortunately without the manual I'm not sure what the error codes mean. I pulled the board and reflowed the solder on the header pins. I also popped the rom off and dumped the code if anyone needs it.

The game boots up after the error codes and then the pump goes on and the arm moves all the way down and then the game goes into attract mode. When I play the game it seems like it's shorting out when I press the elbow button down.

The hydraulic reservoir is cracked so that needs fixed also. I'll post some pics when I get a chance to work on it some more.

So the game has error code 6, 8 and 9. Not sure what they mean because I have no manual. Anyone with a manual that can help me out? :)

hello!

hello musicman282, I also have this game, which has given me some error codes and then blew a fuse. I don't intend to spend a lot of time working on this game till next year; however, I've seen your post and decided to say hi. do you still have the game?
