Anyone played this game? I actually picked up a few nice boards from a guy over the weekend and one of them was Beastie Feastie. It is actually a Pac Man board, but has Beastie Feastie Roms and chips on both the main board and separate board. I also got a CP in very nice shape. I am thinking if I look through his stuff I will find the bezel and marquee has he seemed to have parts of a bunch of games that may have been parted at some point. There is not a lot of info on KLOV about it, but it looks intriguing I am going to actually fix my Pac Man later today to try to plug this thing in and see what it is all about.

Any info you can provide is much appreciated.

cool, I did not realize that. I also picked up a Glob CP while I was there, good chance I will find the bezels for both next time I go.

The Glob and Super Glob also have dedicated boards (EPOS) with far better sound....

Do you have one? I'd like to check it out. I assume it has an AY-3-8910?
I play Beastie Feastie on my multi-pac (Widel's "MAD Pac"), and I bought a Glob conversion kit for Pac boards. The Glob kit unfortunately doesn't add any new sound hardware.... I think it sounds pretty cool anyway. I'd really like to hear what the dedicated game sounds like.

I saw and briefly played a 'dedicated' Super Glob about 2 years ago and the game was the shit. The hanging from the ceiling thing was sweet. I would love to find one to purchase again. I really wish it would appear on one of the many multi pac incarnations. Matt, which marquee do you have? SuperGlob on the left, animals on the right, with the Superman style badge?

Is Super Glob the exact same as Beastie Feastie? If not, are there still Super Glob kits available out there somewhere? Sounds like it would be cool to have each of the boards ready to go.

I asked the same question a couple of years ago on another forum: what's the difference between Beastie Feastie, The Glob, and Super Glob? It's easy to assume they are all the same game. They are not. There are subtle but key differences. This response was from Mark Alpiger, who is one of the best in the world on these games, if not the best:

I played The Glob on a converted Pac-Man cab with Mark a couple of years ago. Cool game. Definitely gets very very hard. The Glob may very well be the fastest moving arcade game ever in its later levels. You need superhuman reflexes.

And Phet, according to Mark Super Glob is by far the worst game of the three. You may like Beastie Feastie a lot more since it's more refined and it doesn't ramp in difficulty nearly as quickly as The Glob. It's all personal preference though.

I just checked my marquees and I was wrong about having two of the same... I have a "The Glob" marquee and a "Super Glob" marquee. They look like these:

OK, I played The Glob then. It had the first marquee on it. Great game. If anyone has a Glob kit for sale, LMK. There was a Beastie Feastie at the last auction I was at, not sure if it even got a bid.
