I have the chance to pick up a haunted house pin in very very nice condition great glass and playfield 100% working new nuwumf CPU board. What's a good price I'm looking for ideas for a offer. Also is it a fun game, keeper. I have had system 80 pins before sob that doesn't scare me to bad.
Thanks Tony

$1,200 if very nice would be the highest that I would expect to go. No less than $800 for a working one in good shape with no noticeable damage or missing parts...

Considered by most, a fun pinball....a desired pinball.....usually not cheap.....a repair nightmare........and a effort to keep running.

HH is a good pin. If it's very nice with little to no wear on the playfield and a nice backglass I would expect $1500+.

HH would be a better playing pin IF it was a multi-ball game. I had a HH and a BH (Black Hole) in my collection a few years ago. BH is a better game (Multi-ball and voice). Sold the HH and kept the BH.

fun but relatively slow playing single ball game. 3 playfields is awesome and the "creepy"organ music can't be beat.

My honest thoughts:

The theme is very well executed in Haunted House. The sounds are good (in my opinion) and the organ music is OUTSTANDING.

I used to have one, and sold it LONG ago. It was fun for a while, but (as with most widebody machines I have played) I found it to get boring very quickly. This may be more a result of me not liking widebody machines more than Haunted House being a boring machine.

The kick targets are cool, the art is good. The 3 level playfield is novel. I really like the light sequencers int he backglass to give the lightning effect.

They can be problematic to keep running, but there are many upgrades that can amke them MUCH more reliable.

Also, it is the single heaviest pinball machine I have ever moved. Built like a tank.

The prices I have seen lately are $900-$1600 depending on condition, upgrades, etc.

Good luck. Many really like this machine. Personally, I wouldn't care if I never played one again. But then again, I really like Spectrum, LOL.
