I having a problem with my Big Indian. I was planning to place an order for some parts towards the end of May (including schematics) but I would love to get this fixed before then.

Let me know if there are any downloads available anywhere.

Post or PM. Thanks for your help.

I know I've said this before, but you really don't need a schematic to troubleshoot and fix an EM. Every coil is labeled (or should be!), and the various switches are sitting out there in plain day for you to check their operation. You can easily track down a problem to one or a few coils/switch banks, and manually activate coils or individual switches to check for proper operation. You can even follow the color-coded wires around the machine, and figure out what signals they carry by manually cycling the switches they are attached to. All you need are open eyes and to put your thinking cap on to troubleshoot an EM; no schematic needed. I've fixed many EMs in my day, and NEVER needed or used a schematic for any of them. Go straight to the coils and switches.

Okay, I'll give it another shot. I was able to bring the machine back from the dead without the schematic but there is one issue that is stumping me.

There are two standup targets that do NOT score in their 100 point state but DO score when the light is lit ("500 when lit") and they score the 500.

Somebody else I was talking to thought there should be a NC switch on the 500 point relay that might be bad, but all 4 of those switches are NO.

Nothing happens at all when the light isn't lit. And when it's lit, the 500pt relay goes and the relays in the head to add the points.

Any tips for me?

I'm moving this issue to it's own post - http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?p=1170446#post1170446
