Hi there. I am looking for a dedicated Aztarac and Zektor. LA area. Will pay whatever ( within the fringes of reason ). Thanks.

Aztarac, I know there's one in my town. I saw it in the wild almost a year ago. I can follow up with the owner and see if it has changed hands.

What's a decent Aztarac really worth? I have a lovely one.

Really hard to say. I don't know if there is much data on them selling. My best guess fully working is $5k+. I know someone who sold his a few years ago. I can probably ask him what it sold for.

I can offer this as info. vaps has 4 aztaracs listed in collectors hands. Cosmic chasm has 6. I found 2.5 cosmic chasms in my years of collecting. Never found a aztarac. I sold the guts/kit of a severly water damaged one for I think $2k a few years ago. I sold a fully working upright about 10 years ago for I think $4500-$5500(somewhere in that ballpark, I can't remember right now).

If you do decide to sell yours, I think there is decent demand for it. Greg has it on his klov wanted list(4 people have it on the list, 8 people are looking for cosmic chasm). Don't know if its a game he is really looking for, but I would ask him as his long term plan for it is cool.

Wow! That is so awesome that you have one. Does it have a long reaching depth of play ver time? I dont use emulators so the research i have dine on the game really seems like it would be a great game to play over the years.
I would pay whatever for one. Its not a factor.

Thanks for the responses.

The 6400 is currently out of action on it but the game is in _really_ good condition. I have a Cosmic Chasm as well that is fully working.

Bill - I think you sold the CC parts to my friend Dan - this was when we were trying to get an Airborne off you.

I must admit I don't really play either of the games. Some times I wonder if I should sell the stuff I don't play.

If you are selling a Cosmic Chasm or an Aztarac please let me know. I will eat worms to have either.

Pretty sure it was dan. Did he ever build the game?

I don't remember ever thinking about selling my airborne cockpit. Probably was about selling the airborne proto UR's.

Did your cosmic chasm have a 6400 or g08-105 in it. Manual said it was an option, but all 3 had g08-105 in them. (I assume all 3 as the 3rd monitor was on the operators shelf along with the 3rd board).

Wow I have no memory of either of those games! I wonder if they even made it to the East Coast?

I got to see an Aztarac that was here in Georgia last year but it was being stored for another collector. I don't think it was ever publicly playable in the wild here though. Unfortunately, the very knowledgeable owner was banned from this site after just 7 posts because some admin couldn't close a deal on some rare games, possibly including the Aztarac.

Really, some admin banned someone because they didn't get the games they wanted? Well that sounds pretty bad. Can you post a link to details to support your post?

I remember it.

It was a guy from England that's living in southern Georgia now. Can't recall his name right off. Had a bunch of very collectible stuff.

I think a deal was made and then it got altered and some stuff sold off to others. Pissed off the wrong person and the Big Red Button got pushed.

Bam- away goes the user account and the entire thread.
