I just purchased a Street Fighter 2 cab and the monitor keeps blowing fuses, so I am looking to get a new chassis for it to see if that is the problem. Anyone have an extra lying around to sell? I am a newbie to the arcade cab game, so I figured I could even trade with someone who could put a new cap kit on it (Since I have no previous experience with anything of this sort)

I will definitely be getting that from you really soon. How much would it cost me shipped? I picked up this SF2 machine for 100 dollars, and after doing some research, I can only assume that the chassis just needs to be re-capped, and I haven't learned how to do any of that yet. And after testing everything else, I can only assume that something on the chassis is causing the fuses to blow over and over again.

Shipping is $8.50 in the USA for the rebuilt chassis..

Yeah, its more than caps if it's blowing the fuse. There is plenty of documentation and helpful people here if you try and fix yours though.. Or buy mine, enjoy your game and take your time fixing the dead chassis.. Then sell it for what you paid for mine :)

Yeah. That is my plan. I just became part of the community last night, but I plan on being here for a while. So I will learn all the tricks of the trade. I will eventually learn how to recap and do that, though. I will be in touch with you in the next couple days about getting that chassis. Have to get the money together for it.

Better to bite the bullet and buy that chassis. Its tempting to be cheap and just order a cap kit and hope for the best, and then three months down the road youre still staring at a non working game. Been there. Ive learned.

Yeah. That's probs the route I will take. I mean I got a killer deal on it, and just have always wanted to learn more about cabs, so this was a good way for me to break in. Figured I would get his chassis from him, try and repair mine, and if I get it working, then I will be more familiar with how to recap
