The top one looks like it might be a Makvision. They're OK... Chassis are made in China so that sucks. At least they have a 1yr warranty!

The other one is a Sanwa used in lots of Sega and Namco games. That monitor is almost $800.00 new! The guy that sold that thing took a HUGE bath on it. Top it off with free shipping?? Wow, that was a hell of a deal. The picture tubes usually go bad before that chassis takes a dump.

Will the sanwa monitor fit a konami simpsons cabinent? Im going to be using this with an arcadevga and jpac for a hyperspin setup and I just want to make sure it will work before buying.

It will fit with some cutting of wood and the plastic bezel. But, it wont accept the output from the ArcadeVGA card, its a VGA monitor and the ArcadeVGA outputs CGA (std resolution). You wount need the arcadeVGA just run your PC at 640X480.

Sounds good the arcade vga2 works with both arcade and pc monitors the old version was only for arcade monitors somebody correct me if Im wrong. I think it would still work the card just lets you have lower res availible if the card was not in my pc I couldnt even set my res to 640x480 800x600 was the lowest before the install Im actually using it right now to type this msg from my TV.
