I'm new to jukeboxes and this amp needs a rebuild as it's a mess. Does anyone have one they can snap a pic of? Also is there a KLOV equivalent for jukes?

Thanks!

The only other semi-active forum for jukes I'm aware of is: https://jukeboxaddicts.proboards.com/
But it's only slightly more active than this sub-forum from what I've seen.

Doesn't look like too much of a mess to me. That looks like an example of "point-to-point wiring" which was once quite common. They didn't bother with printed circuit boards; they just wired up things in place on components or hanging in the air between them.

Thanks for then reply. One of the issues that's not super clear in the pic is that there are 7 dangling wires. I've got a schematic but there are definitely some discrepancies. I'll take a look at juke addicts.

-Thanks

There should be a schematic available. As was stated, this is point to point wiring, so they all look like this. They are a ton of fun to work on.

I see some repairs (the electrical tape on a connection) but didn't see any loose wires. Can you post a picture of that area?

I have a schematic for it, but there seem to be a lot of things not listed. I've never worked on point to point so It's going to be a bit of an adventure. I bought a cap kit for it and it's not as easy to match things I imagined it would be. I was able to trace and reconnect all but two of the loose wires. Here's a couple pics of the last two. I'll attached an image of the schematic hopefully tonight.

I would replace that two section electrolytic. I'd be surprised if one section hasn't failed already.
Looking at your first pic I see 4 although they may not all be multi sectional they should still be replaced imo.
I would prob use some of the bolts already populated and install some terminal strips to secure them.

I have replacements for all of them and the tubes as well.

The black(or brown) wire in your first pic looks to be the plate of one of the 6L6 tubes. The schematic shows they each run to the opposite sides of a .01uf cap which should also have two wires coming off going to a transformer.
It's tough to see where it was originally connected since it looks too short to reach that cap, it may have been tied to an unused pin on one of the tubes as a junction point. Pins 1&6 aren't used on that tube.
