Last night I looked a an Escape from the Lost World machine, guy has it for sale @$480. Machine is decent but the sound was really low even cranked all the way up it was Very low. Is this common on ballys? The pot didnt crackle or anything to suggest it was bad but I am new to Ballys and still green on pinballs too. He had been moving and had no tools so we couldnt take it apart and knew nothing about pins as he has a guy fix it for him, does it seem like an easy fix? any input will helps. Is this a good game? I liked it but with barely any sound it wasnt giving the full experience

IMO, $480 on almost any pin nowadays is a steal. Pick it up, fix it, play it and sell it if you don't like it. This pin is on my want list!

That is what I was thinking too, just dont want to buy a new sound board or something, are parts for these 6803 common?

6803 sounds boards are not exactly what I would call common in the world of pinball parts but not unattainable. You can probably fix what's there anyway. I would suspect the audio amp first.

Escape From The Lost World is a cool game. I have one. Crazy though. I describe it as the game that's trying to destroy itself. You'll see what I mean when you get it. The ball flies all over the place in such a way that really makes you wonder what they were thinking when they designed it.

Thanks Lindsey. The Audio Amp sounds like it could be the culprit too. How would I go about testing fixing something like that. I have done very little board work myself but can always do some more learning.
