Lookee What I Just Won

The monitors you listed use the CR23. If your K7000's are 19" models then they need a CR31. I don't know if anyone has written down what adaptors go with what chassis.

I suppose I need to determine what adapters are most popular. I primarily have G07's, K4900's, K4600's, and K7000's.

Anyone know where I go to find what adapters are for what tubes?

CR23 will cover everything above. If you have a 19" k7000 that has the small neck tube then that one will use CR31. Otherwise large neck 19" k7000 will use CR23.

Matsushita monitors use CR30. Sega/Nanao MC-2000-S uses CR25.

B&W raster and B&W x-y monitors will use the adapters that already came with your unit.

Anyone have a CR23 and/or CR31 they'd like to sell?

Also, how about the 6100? I have one of those as well... might as well cover all bases.

:)

The 6100 uses a CR24, However it is the same pinout as the CR23 you just have to remove the shrouding from the neck of the tube in order to get the CR23 to fit.

Sending a pm about the other adaptors.

And what about those naysayers that claim "rejuvenation" hastens a early death for the monitor?

Any credence to that claim or why they would make it?

.

You usually only rejuvenate a tube that not operating correctly anyways. If you can get it back to working nicely, even if it's for a short time... that's better than nothing.

I've been using a rejuved tube for 3 years on my vertical mame...

And i'll be rejuving a tube likely today... (borrowing a Sencore from a friend). I'll post before and after shots.

its about time you picked one up friz!!! money well spent...

hyde, a rejuver such as this one tests the emissions of the color guns in the tube, tests the heater element inside the tube, tests for shorts between the color guns and the heater in the tube, and also has the ability to "blast" each gun if needed..

say your green is weak on screen, you test the tube and the green emission is very weak, you can try to clean or rejuvenate that gun using the rejuvenator..

It does not always work but its a great tool to try and also is nice to have just to take out the guesswork as to wether you have a tube or chassis issue
