Looked at a Gauntlett Legends today with 2 issues....

Dont know much about vid repair but want to add a second to my gameroom.

This Gauntlet reset a couple times during game play. Second the reset switch needed to be in for game to play....

Are these Power Supply issues? major or minor? With vid prices being so low not sure its worth the risk picking up one that's not 100% working

Thanks for any help
Mike

Measure the 5v past the edge connector. These are famous for burnt connectors causing voltage drop. Molex connector for the hdd is a good test point. This board is power hungry. Make sure its a beafy 7a or higher ps.

From a fellow tech who was use to on arcade machines of this era.

Cheap power supply as the caps slowly leak. Replacement and retesting is an easy fix.

Video card going bad. Still an easy fix just a more expensive fix. It seems that a small heat sinks on video cards do not do well in a cabinet that doesn't move air Like a PC case.

Those are normally the two issues that go wrong from what I have been told.
