Todd, I noticed that your button on the DK are white. I recently got one that I am restoring and they are blue and orange. Which is original?

BTB, your DK marquees are both pretty faded, especially yours Tighe. I recently was given a NOS marquee sticker, and the DK logo is actually supposed to be DKjr orange. You can get an idea of the true color at the far end (top) of this pic:

And here are pics of the Space Demon I borrowed next to the DK cabaret I just bought:

The woodgrain on the DK does not look original to me. I assume all the Nintendo cabarets had more of the walnut woodgrain vs. the blond ash that's on mine. Also note the 'reinforced roof'.

Yes, the sides and reinforcement of your DK mini is not original (the borrowed SD mini is).

Yes I know and am jealous of your NOS one! I have the art someone made up, but I need to tweek it as the copyright text is the wrong font.

Well, I never knew these existed until today and now I'm seeing a plethora of them coming out of the woodwork so to speak. Nice find Todd. Nice DK Phet. Excellent craftsmanship on those repros. That reinforced DK has to go.

Yah that wood grain is wrong looks like maple instead of oak/walnut.

Also you have the Japanese single coin slot door where I have a dual.
