So, I took a road trip today and ended up with 2 Sea Wolf cabs and a Street Fighter. One of the Sea Wolf cabs was damaged in shipping but working, other is not working but will be used for parts. Street Fighter needs some TLc but does work. Not a bad afternoon. What do you guys think?

I C' C' Wolf's on C' floor.

Nice find. Planning on combining or restoring both?

Was planning on combining. Messing around with both tonight though, I think I could restore both. Not sure, I will get one up and running and see what the 2nd one needs. Probably convert the street fighter into a 60-in-1..

Well, just to let you know, I sold my SF1 in about 8 hours cl for $600. Guy wanted it for SFII and generic jamma.

So you might want to offer it up as SF before you do all the work to make is 60 in 1.

seriously? i wasn't even going after that game, just the two sea wolfs. it was sitting there, covered in dust. i made him an offer and he accepted. he just needed it moved. i had no idea these things were so rare...

Why the hell is one sea wolf bigger than the other? Later production run model? I can see one has a pedestal and one doesn't but even without it the one on the right still looks bigger.

it is the angle i took it at i think. they are the same size when both are on the pedestal. i am going to sand/paint the other one. i loved this game as a kid. i want to do a full restore. to bad the cab is kinda chipped at the bottom right where the pedestal will be at. i i wish i could fix that.

Keep the SF that thing is sweet. Throwing a fireball on that game was awesome. Really think about holding on to it. It is one of those games that opened the doors to a different arcade genre. Kinda sounds stupid but hopefully someone understands what I mean.

tobyocc: i hear ya. yeah, i will hang on to it. i really had no idea this was a rare game. i guess i got a good deal. the cab needs some work, so i think i will restore it. to bad i can't find replacement side art for it. oh well, this one will stay here. i still need a cab for a 60 in 1 though.

I had that exact SF1 cab....timing is everything. It didn't fetch more than $150 at the time. Nice dynamo cab though. Does it have full artwork both sides, plus bezel and cp?

yeah, full sideart on both sides. bezel is in good shape, as is the marquee. cab just needs some attention. game plays good. joystick could def use some work. this thing was covered in dirt/dust. he had one more game i am gonna go back and get, i didn't have room today. it was a nice hang on machine...

I'm so glad to hear this. When I read that you were thinking of turning it into a 60-1, I shook my head in despair. This is definitely a classic fighter and, like tobyocc said, the one that really started the head-to-head genre and paved the way for SFII and on. It's definitely a rare Capcom game to find complete in the condition you have it in now.

Unfortunately, as innovative as it was back then, it's not a very good game. The game controls are inconsistent and random at times. The graphics make the game seems like it's lagging. Though, if you're lucky enough to do a fireball, it takes away like 3/4 of the opponents health. I think they really worked out these issues when they came out with SFII. To end on a good note, the sounds and music are very memorable. I'd want one like that next to my SFII for the nostalgia factor of playing a game that I used to play as a kid even though I may not enjoy it as much now.
