I love the fact that Lon still enjoys playing the game after all these years and after he has pretty much mastered everything about it.
Keep in mind that when he first mastered it, there was no internet where you could go watch videos of how things are done or where there are websites dedicated to revealing all the secrets to winning. If he got any help at all, it had to come from other players in his area that he knew. And I seem to recall him saying that he came from a small town of like 4000 people, so odds are he figured it all out on his own.
Personally, I don't think there is anything "lame" about Joust at all. It is one of my favorite games. Not that I had any intention of ever selling it to begin with, but now that Lon has baptized it for me, I know it will remain in my collection until I'm gone.
