I thought we had a rule?
http://forums.arcade-museum.com/showthread.php?t=215221

Really sucks to have to click a dozen games only to find out there across the country,I dont mind shipping but it would really be nice to have it narrowed down a bit. The concept worked for a week or two(some still do it)but has seemed to drop off, just saying.

Maybe admin should include location info next to a members username that shows under the thread title. And for the people that do not want to share location info in their profile, they should not be able to start a for sale thread.

Yea, its the equivalent of putting the following as a thread title, "For sale stuff n things click to find out what".

We have all those characters to use in the title, why not do so.

Also, I think they should make it where there's a picture in the title. That way I dont' have to click on the link to see what the game looks like.

I don't know about putting a picture in the title (how would that really work?) but there should be pictures in the thread if they have any. If it is just a link I usually don't bother. Plus sometimes you are trying to verify something on an uncommon game in a thread from years ago but the links are long dead.

Just putting the state next to thete name would be a grand improvement. Of course I live in Iowa and there's rarly games so I click on everything anyways. Lol

The more I think about it, I think it would be a good idea if they put a video in the title. That way I could better see what condition a game was in, before I clicked on the post.

It just sucks having to click a bunch of different 'for sale' posts, only to see that after I watch the video the seller provided, it's not quite in the condition I was thinking of when I saw the title.

That would help but videos (and pictures) can be deceiving so I suggest we have regional KLOV game 'inspectors' who must visit the potential seller and fully vet the sale items using a checklist approved by a majority of KLOV members who have at least 2000 posts and can prove they never parted a game.

They might also be sanctioned to 'suggest' a reasonable price range for the items in a KLOV FS post. They would have no authority to enforce a price however as we do not want to create a 'Price Police'.

Then we could be SURE.

Yes, location is very important.

Heh! I like it.

And once the deletions start taking effect people will grow tired of their listings dissapearing, items not selling and start following the rule. Second infraction should constitute a suspension from posting in the FS section for a predetermined amount of time.
