How come most of you post your games without a location in the post title? It sure would make it easier for those of us that don't want to pay to have games shipped. Those of you who are willing to pay shipping will click in to the ad regardless of location....

i 2nd this motion, I wish the mods would delete any game FS post that doesnt have the location in the title. Parts dont matter, almost always cheaper to ship those.

I know that there are many games that i would have bought instantly if i would have noticed were they were. I wouldnt consider even looking at a FS post for a MS Pac, but if it says it was in IL, were it might be worth grabbing for one of my customers, I would look for sure then

I'm am sure it has. I guess I was posting a nice reminder...besides.. I'm kinda new here so I am just seeing the horse for the first time :)

That is why the search function is such a neat tool. You could have seen about 50 horses by now. ;)

if the first reply is "how much" or "where is it" then i think the whole thread should be deleated. that'll teach em a lesson

I am all for beating this horse well into the afterlife (or nothing-ness for you athiests). But after a few years I don't see a change.

i just listed a game and wait a minuite, LOCATION IS IN THE TITLE??? wtf? am i sick? :D

Its a common courtesy but im sure theres some folks who just dont care, and another group that just plain forgets/doesent think about it.

Get used to it, it aint gonna change anytime soon. Its all part of the fun and hunt.

to note: this is not the correct section to gripe about what you think other people should do

yes a lot of us would appreciate it but its not a rule... posting in the correct forum section IS a rule...

i recommend a mod move this to the proper section (maybe that will be a "helpful reminder")

Just throwing this out b/c I dont care either way. But if you click on the Post there is a Location section under your name. So as far as it goes the location is there on most peoples post just have to look.

It would be better if we could edit the titles of the posts. I have tried, but cannot do it. Sometimes I forget to put something in or have a miss spelling.

Posting a location in the tile should be a requirement, period. Most other forums have this as a rule and I still to this day cannot figure out why it is so difficult to enforce here. I also see it as common courtesy to potential buyers. Forums should be user friendly, not the other way around. If it's been complained about so many times how can it not be seen as an issue that needs resolving?

Yep, your right..my question should be moved to another section. Thanks for the suggestion!!

;)

Fix the template?

Since the system obviously knows where the poster is, the system should post the location on the forum template automatically. I think it's as simple as putting a tag into the template.

I too skip far too many posts because the location is not listed.
