Local KLOVer get together in Seattle tomorrow night?

Hey Seattle KLOVers,

I'm going to be in town until Saturday and I was thinking that since I didn't get a lot of time to talk to some of you at the show that it would be cool to get together for some food/drink and shoot the sh!t some time this week.

How about tomorrow night? Where would be a good location? I'm staying right by the Seattle Center but I have a car so I can go wherever.

Just a thought :)

I will be out doing touristy stuff today so I won't see this thread again until this evening.

In Seattle, Shorty's on 2nd ave is a great place for pinball though it is really loud and not too good for conversation. The Seattle Pinball Museum is great also, but I don't think they are open on Tuesdays, and they don't serve food or drinks.

In Tacoma there is Dorky's arcade. This is my opinion of the best place to meet. There is a huge selection of vids and a fairly good selection of pins as well. They have food and non-alcoholic drinks (no liquor license yet).

However, I don't know how much participation you are going to get. Most SMAC members are pretty burned out right now, after five straight days of arcade related work. I'll cross post this to them and see what they say, but I think Thursday may be better for most people...

I just realized you posted this in the pinball section. If you are looking for other pin heads to hang out with you should try the RGP group, few Seattle area pin heads hang out on these forums...

I am game, Brother. I don't get out much, so someone else will have to choose the location. Oz gets around pretty good and knows most of the good places to go.

That's not quite right. I get around just fine but Seattle is too damn far for me to worry much about food, just gaming.

Lindsey, if you are looking for somewhere with good food I am not the guy to point you in that direction. I do, however, know where most of the games are. If you picked up any of the Skillshot 'zines that were available at the show it lists most good pin places: the name of the location, the address, and a game list that has been updated within the past month. Those Skillshot guys have really got their shit together.
