Local Area: Kansas, Missouri, & More.

I like the state names, since it keeps everything uniform and avoids confusion, but if too many states are involved I would suggest "Central Midwest".

I think this is a great idea too, but we need a naming convention that's uniform, forum-wide.

Central-Midwest makes sense as does the state names.

YoSafBridge

Well, we can "Malcolm Reynolds"-ize the name, like he did with Christina Hendrick's character, Yolanda, Saffron and Bridget - YoSafBridge!

In this case, it would be IoKanNeMo (pronounced I-o-can-knee-Mo)

Or some other contraction. Then again, who would recognize it?

Nevermind. The inside joke worked in Firefly - it won't work here.

" Welcome to the MAAG -Middle American Amusement Group" the only place where we think tornados arn't that amusing :D

i think it sounds good ;)

Ok... so I'm not in Wichita... But it ain't THAT far away! I'm in.

Heck, just made a run to Topeka a few weeks back to pick up a machine. <g>

Long as it's within a single gas tank range... <G> (usually)

I just ran near Wichita to grab one, see, were not too far off!!! Mod, build this for us..!!

As we can see, there are varying ideas on what states should be included because it depends on what states you are near. Looks like the others are generally single states. If nothing else what about separate ones for Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, etc. At least they would be there and then you would have the ability to be associated with the ones that are close to you.

Videotopia

If you weren't already aware, the Videotopia traveling exhibit will be coming to Exploration Place in Wichita this Saturday, and runs through the end of the year. Also, there will be a 21-and-up mixer the evening of October 12.

I believe they plan to have around 40 games set up in the exhibit. More info at: http://www.exploration.org/videotopia.html

Hello from Hutchinson

I would sure love to meet some KLOVers in the Hutchinson/Wichita area. I have restored games before, but would love to learn more when it comes to the electronics troubleshooting angle. Are there ever get-togethers or swap meets in the Wichita area?
