Both sold pending payment / pickup!!

I bought these cabs off of these very same boards (thanks again!!!), but now I don't have room for the two I kept, due to a recent BIG acquisition :).

The first cab I have is a 4 slot big red with no monitor. I have verified that it does power up and that the sound works just fine. I also used a CMVS hookup to verify that the buttons/joystick work. They are a little sticky, but either replacements or a thorough cleaning would work. I tested the 4 slot board in my 6 slot cab and it works great. It has been - semi-consolized, but the wires could easily be taken off or it could be completely consolized, depending on which way you want to go with it. SOLD PENDING PAYMENT / PICKUP

The second cab is a 2 slot. It is missing both the monitor and the frosted glass that goes in front of it. It was missing a marquee but I purchased one (couldn't help it, wanted it to look nice while I had it). I didn't test any of the internal components on this one. - $50

Sorry, but aside from being willing to sell the PCB separately, I'm not willing to part out the cabs just yet. Mainly due to the respect for both Neo Geo cabinets in general and respects for the wonderful people on this board. If I can't sell everything, I'll list again in MMAO; I want to try this first though.

I was about the say WTF is Little Chute? And then I remembered it's not far from Green Bay.

I'd like to have a Neo Geo cab (even have the required monitor for it) but just can't seem to justify the drive.

Good luck on the sale, and FREE BUMP.

neo geo 4 slot

not sure where you are located im in central ohio but i have been looking for a 4 slot dedicated neo geo that is original and not been turned into a mame cab. also what did you mean by consolized?

Consolized means it has been modified to plug in directly into modern TVs and also use controllers plugged into the board. Basically turning the arcade machine into a a more traditional console system (like the X-box or playstation).

Usually when one consolizes a Neo-geo MVS they are adding S-Video out, composite out, audio out, an easy power switch, an A/C adapter plugin for power, and then usually use the traditional serial ports for controllers.

Since it says partially consolized, it probably has a few wires soldered on to begin the process, but still functions as an MVS board.

Hope that helps.

Thanks; couldn't have said it better myself. To expand on that, I had a circuit board for converting the video sitting around and soldered all the wires in. Using the power from the cab itself, I can plug the 4 slot into s-video for a tv and get a picture. However, the 4-slot does not have sound wired to normal AV ports, does not have its own power hookups (i.e. it can't be pulled from the cabinet, then plugged into a normal TV and just work). The video is also not fully functional - colors are washed out and the screen jumps on bright flashes. I know it's not the 4 slot board because I checked that in my 6 slot cab and it works just fine.

Thanks for the interest. Let me know if there are any other questions.

Regards,

Matt

I know the feeling ;). 4 slot is sold pending payment. I would let the 2 slot go for 50.

Matt

I wounder if I could get it into my workshop, before she would notice???

I might buy the 2 slot. I have a 4 slot that I was thinking of turning into a game tornado, but I cannot just kill a perfectly good dedicated neo geo. But I have no issue turning a empty 2 slot.

Anyone want to buy a nice dedicated 4 slot? :D
