Galloping ghost has around 260 now

Last time I was at Scandia a large portion of the games were iffy at best. I don't know that I would recommend anyone go there just for the arcade.

Funspot in NH has plenty written about it.

Disney Quest in Orlando gets discussed pretty often, as well. Mostly newer stuff, with a good selection of classic video games and half-a-dozen or so pins. The condition of the games seems to vary wildly.

I hear good things about Ground Kontrol in Portland, but I've never been there.

Last I heard Richie Knucklez in NJ was closing, or is closed.

A cool smaller place I have visited is SS Billiards outside of Minneapolis. Pinball centric.

RIP Richie Knucklez Arcade. You will always be remembered.

And yes GK is a very cool place, probably even cooler if you are a pinhead. I think they have the biggest pin lineup in Oregon.... Well until the one in Salem opens.

Flipper McCoys is still alive and kickin. Awesome location with great mix of classics and newer stuff.

wives always make husbands stop what they love, dont they?

so true. so true. Until we turn 75, then they say "whatever makes you happy, do it, don't hold back." But by then, they've repessed us for so long, that our first happy thought is to pull out a gun and shoot them in the kneecaps. Robocop style and shit.

If you count our museum next door once a month we have closer to 220 but that's only once a month (Game Galaxy)

since you're in Rockville, Crab Town in Glen Burnie might be your closest. not a great arcade but has some pretty good games. i had fun there when visiting my sister in Annapolis a few summers ago, though i would not recommend the food.

that list doesn't mention Dorky's in Tacoma, WA which has somewhere around 80 video games (mostly classics) and 20+ pins. Seattle has a huge pin culture right now with several locations (Shorty's, Full Tilt, Add-A-Ball) serving that community.

from personal experience, Ground Kontrol and Funspot are both worth going out of your way to visit.

I need to get to Nashville and check out Game Galaxy since I'm right up the road in Bowling Green
